State Legislatures in StrayaRoos are legislative bodies that control state-level responsibilities in StrayaRoos.
All of the Legislatures predominantly use the Westminster system, except with an elected Governor instead of a Monarch. Prior to 1928, the State-Level functions of Government were conducted by a 'State Caucus' of the House of Representatives and Senate members elected from that state, which reported to a Governor. Then, in 1927, the State Governments Act was passed through the Parliament, which set the date for elections starting from the next year, on the same day as the half-Senate election that year.
