The Gwanghae class cruiser was produced in 2252 and is still in operation by the Cheonghae Defense Forces(CDF). The Gwanghae class cruiser is a general-purpose cruiser designed to be suitable for a variety of tasks, including fleet combat, fleet defense, planetary defense, reconnaissance, and more. With the performance suitable for a variety of missions, the Gwanghae class cruiser is the largest number of ships operated by a CDF as a single type of ship. The Gwanghae class cruiser is constantly being improved to maintain suitable performance for the rapidly changing modern space battlefield.
