The 77th World Hit Festival will be held on the 22nd December 2024. It was held in the Maregrad Arena in Rugenia's capital city Maregrad, following the country's victory in the previous contest held in Scotatrova. The contest will consist of a single live show, held on 22nd December and presented by Lena Kuskavka and Johannes, a former WorldVision Song Contest winner. The 77th World Hit Festival marks the start of the eighth World Hit Festival Overseer Era, with Claudia Anne-Davies from Britonisea becoming the new Overseer.

The 77th World Hit Festival will take place in the newly opened Maregrad Arena, located in the center of Rugenia’s capital city, Maregrad. The arena, which opened in September 2024, can host up to 17,000 live spectators. The arena’s press- and media center is fully equipped to accommodate the needs of international journalists covering the event, featuring the latest technology and comfortable workspaces to enable up-to-the-minute reporting.
