Hugo Portland is a Delamarian politician who served as the Deputy Prime Minister of Delamaria under Prime Minister Philip Campbell and Henry Nugent and leader of the Democratic party. Portland was born to a middle class family in Yorkerdam in 1967. His father was a local politician who unsuccessfully ran for Mayor of Yorkerdam in 1974. Portland gained a degree in Business Administration from the University of Westchester in 1989 and worked in finance and Public Relations before running for the House of Delegates in 2010 as a Liberal.
