Inven's domestic political and legislative affairs are under the competence of the Invenian Parliament and the local territorial administration of the Chief Secretary. The House of Cosmos consists of 256 {{wpl|Members of Parliament}} elected in single-member constituencies under the {{wpl|First Past the Post}} electoral system. The Senate consists of 64 Senators appointed for life by the Governor on the advice of the Chief Secretary, with the confirmation of the Senate itself. The birds and the bees live in harmony with the plants and the trees in Inven, a lavish, stunningly beautiful nation noted for its high budgetary contributions to the Environment. Commerce in Inven is fairly healthy where there are more SuperConglomoMarts per capita than in most of its neighbors.
