Alius (Citizens Alternative) is a recently formed, populist political party in Latium. It was first formed following the 2015 election by Felix Procilius, and Thomas and Maria Laetoria. Procilius has served as leader of the party since its inception. The party sits center-left to left on the Latin political spectrum, advocating for an end to state religion in Latium and a secular government, liberalized social policies, and greater public participation in politics. However, the party has refused to use the center-left or leftist labels when describing its platform.
