Oros (Wenja: Urus [ˈu.rus]; Izila: Óros [ˈo̞.ro̞s]), officially known as the Democratic Republic of Oros (Wenja: Dimukratiway Rispublika Urus [di.mu.ˈkra.ti.waj ris.ˈpub.li.ka ˈu.rus]; Izila: Respúblik Demokrátik Óros [re̞s.ˈpub.lik de̞.mo̞.ˈkra.tik ˈo̞.ro̞s]) is a sovereign state in Central Asia. It is bordered by Kazakhstan to the west and south, China to the southeast, and Russia to the north, and is separated from Mongolia by an approximately 40 kilometre shared border between China and Russia.
