Privy Council of Ossoria

The Privy Council (Comhairle Ionpháirteach) is a branch of the Monarchy and serves as the advisory body to the Monarch, composed of the heads of the government ministries, the top officers of the military, and other advisers. Minister-Councilors are appointed by the Monarch with the advice of the Dáil, while Ministers-without-Portfolio and other senior advisers may be unilaterally appointed to the Council by the Monarch. All Privy Councilors serve at the pleasure of the Monarch, who can dismiss them at will. All Privy Councilors are also subject to oversight by both the House of Commons and the House of Lords, as well as investigation and impeachment by the House of Keys.

Ministries

• The Admiralty (Aimiréalacht), originally referred to as the Ministry of Naval Affairs (Aireacht Gnóthaí Cabhlaigh), is the federal ministry responsible for overseeing the Royal Ossorian Navy.
• The Ministry of Agriculture (Aireacht na Talmhaíochta) is the federal ministry responsible for developing and implementing federal policy related to farming, forestry, and food. Its duties include the promotion of agricultural production, assurance of food safety standards, and protection natural resources such as woodlands and fisheries.
• The Air Ministry (Aireacht Aeir), officially referred to as the Ministry of the Air Forces (Aireacht na bhFórsaí Aeir), is the federal ministry responsible for overseeing the Royal Ossorian Air Force.
• The Ministry of Commerce and Trade (Aireacht Tráchtála agus Trádála) is the federal ministry responsible for the administration of trade between the Realm and foreign nations.
• The Ministry of Communications (Aireacht Cumarsáide) is the federal ministry responsible for the administration of the national communications infrastructure.
• The Ministry of Education and Culture (Aireacht Oideachais agus Cultúir) is the federal ministry responsible for the administration of national policies related to education, art, culture, and sport.
• The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Aireacht Gnóthaí Eachtracha), commonly referred to as the Foreign Office, is the federal ministry responsible for carrying out the foreign policy of the Realm and maintaining its international relations. Its duties include advising the High Queen on matters of foreign policy, administering the Realm's diplomatic missions, negotiating treaties and agreements with foreign entities, and representing the Realm abroad and at the Organization of Tyrannic Nations.
• The Ministry of Health (Aireacht Sláinte) is the federal ministry responsible for protecting the health of all Ossorian citizens. Its duties include promoting public health, administration of the national healthcare system, and defending the Realm from biological hazards.
• The Ministry of Home Affairs (Aireacht Gnóthaí Baile), commonly referred to as the Home Office, is the federal ministry responsible for carrying out the domestic policy of the Realm. Its duties include advising the High Queen on matters of domestic policy, preparing for natural and man-made disasters, organizing federal elections, and management of public lands.
• The Ministry of Infrastructure (Aireacht Bonneagair) is the federal ministry responsible for the administration of the national utilities infrastructure.
• The Ministry of Justice (Aireacht Ceartais) is the federal ministry responsible for law enforcement and the administration of justice. Its duties include the administration of the Royal Ossorian Constabulary (Consalacht Ríoga Osraí), representing the federal government in court, and running the federal prison system.
• The Ministry of Labor and Industry (Aireacht Saothair agus Tionscail) is the federal ministry responsible for regulating industry and maintaining employment standards.
• The Ministry of Military Affairs (Aireacht Gnóthaí Míleata) is the federal ministry responsible for overseeing the Royal Ossorian Army and the Ossorian Home Guard.
• The Ministry of National Intelligence (Aireacht Faisnéise Náisiúnta) is the federal ministry responsible for conducting intelligence activities to support the foreign policy and safeguard the national security of the Realm. Its duties include the acquisition and analysis of foreign and domestic intelligence, counter-terrorism, espionage, and covert action.
• The Ministry of Science and Technology (Aireacht Eolaíochta agus Teicneolaíochta) is the federal ministry responsible for promoting scientific research and advancement.
• The Ministry of Transportation (Aireacht Iompair) is the federal ministry responsible for the administration of the national transportation infrastructure.
• The Ministry of the Treasury (Aireacht an Chisteáin), commonly referred to as the Exchequer (Státchiste), is the federal ministry responsible for managing the government's finances. Its duties include advising the High Queen on matters of fiscal policy, printing paper currency and minting coinage, collecting taxes, and supervising banks and other financial institutions.
