Munkchester, officially the Munkcestrian Republic, is a country located in the Albennish Sea, lying X miles (X km) northwest of mainland Albennia. The precise nature of the country is disputed – it has been described as both a sovereign city-state and an archipelagic island country. It consists of the city of Munkchester proper and 59 surrounding islets, 5 of which are inhabited. Munkchester is one of the few countries in the world where slavery remains legal, and the slave trade is estimated to contribute X (X%) to a total GDP of X. As of 2019, it has a population of 3,126,544: of this, 393,081 are citizens and 2,733,463 are slaves – a ratio of approximately 1 to 7.
