DEFCON is an online tactcal shooter video game developed and published by Populas. The game was released in Garetolia on March 4, 2014 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The game is the first of the DEFCON franchise.
The game is set in an open world environment on the island of Novi'isida, the least inhabited island of Garetolia. The player takes on the role of Liuetenant Solomon "Sierra" Rensaka, a Garetolian Army Lieutenant sent to liberate the island from a foreign nation known as Kerolsima.
Gameplay
DEFCON is a tactical shooter game set in an open world environment. It is played from a third-person view but is in first-person when aiming weapons. Players take on the role of Lieutenant Solomon "Sierra" Rensaka.
Premise
Setting
The game is set in the year 2026, two years after the independence of a Slavic European country known as Kerolsima. Prior to the events of the game, the Kerolsimar army decides to invade Garetolia due to its rich natural resources and tropical climate.
