The Brigada dei Special Operación ét Agressiva Reconocimiento (Anglish: Special Operations and Aggressive Reconnaissance Brigade), more popularly known as SOAR is Iverica's direct action special forces unit. The brigade is activated in response to a national security, hostage, or wartime scenario which requires the fielding of a unit experienced in multiple forms of insertion, fieldcraft, the operation of special weaponry, and other special skills
The SOAR is part of the Republican Armed Service- Special Operations Command (SOC), a separate entity under direct command of the Júnt-Capos or "Joint-Chiefs" of the Armed Service. SOC is not considered a "branch" of the armed service, but a special division with a separate administration, leadership, and protocol. The SOAR brigade consists of an estimated 2000 servicemen and women divided into three battalions, each of which is highly independent of the other. The unit's directives are as follows:
- (1)to gather intelligence on enemy units prior to RAS operations launch.
- (2)to strike conventionally or indirectly at vital enemy installations, strategic locations and lines of supply and communications.
- (3)to execute priority operations deep behind enemy territory.
