Prosperism

Prosperism is a political philosophy based on an application of civic utilitarianism. Most broadly, prosperism argues that a wp|government}}' ultimate duty is to enact policies that maximize the marginal utility ("prosperity") for the greatest number of citizens within the state. Prosperits reject the classical liberal understanding of natural rights and instead contend that the best government is one that can deliver the greatest benefit, defined as happiness or satisfaction, to its citizens.
