• The Blood Moon Period (It was called this as supposedly, on the day of the Zócalan Dynasty’s final collapse and deposing of the last Zócalan Emperor, an inauspicious blood moon was reported to have been spotted.Centuries of competing claimants struggled against one another for dominance.)
600-0 BC
• The Copu Kingdom (Where Copán’s name comes from) is established.
70 AD
• Copu-Tapatean Conflicts escalate into a series of generational wars, of which the kingdom of Copu managed to win several. However, internal issues such as droughts and corruption reduced the effectiveness of the Copu Kingdom over time, leading to another period of chaos and instability. These periods came and went, interspersed by periods of strengthening.
~200-1100 AD
• The Subjugation. A period where the Copu Kingdom was finally defeated and divided by the Tapatean into a series of satellite states. This would continue, with constant rebellion until the arrival of the Holy Aventine Empire
