Richard Spears was a Vionnan nobleman and soldier. He served through the Imperial Civil War with distinction before going into exile in Gallandia, where he served in the Gallandic Civil War with distinction. From 1977 to 1980 he served as a Uli Schwyz mercenary, being offered the rank of Major. His final years of military service were in the Royalist Army of Vionna-Frankenlisch during the War of Restoration, after which he retired from the military. He spent the rest of his life as an influential Imperial peer in the House of Nobles.
