The Parliament of Gemma Insulam is the highest legislative body in the country, all government power is stems by acts granted by parliament. While consisting of the Crown, House of Commons, and House of Peers, the parliament is in practice of bicameral system where the lower house (House of Commons) and the upper house (House of Lords) conduct the work of the day.
Location & Seat
Parliamennt is located in the capital city of Christchurch as it was once the Princely Palace, between 1803-1844, where the monarch held court.
During the Civil of 1847, the palace way occupied by General Sir Leslie Armstrong and the Royalist leadership while the Grand Prince Louis I and the royal family related to the north.
