The Parliament of Sulivannia is a bicameral legislature and is located in the nation's capital Yorke, in the Sulivannian Capital District. The House of Representatives (also called the Lower House) has 608 members and one non-voting speaker, and they represent electoral districts in the nation's 43 states and 4 territories. The Senate (also called the Upper House) has 254 members and one non-voting speaker, and they represent the states and territories as well as the 8 regions in the country. The Lower House creates bills that are scrutinised in the Upper House. The parliament contains members of numerous major and minor political parties.
Current Prime Minister Grant Moulder (2019 - present) is the leader of the Progressive Democratic party.
