The Radictistan Research and Education Network (RadREN) (Radictistani: Radictistan Forskung und Bildungsnetzwerk) is the national research and education network of the Grand Duchy of Radictistan. RadREN serves as a high-capacity backbone network serving research and education institutions within Radictistan. The network has over 180 member institutions ranging from universities to independent laboratories to corporations.
Network and users
The core network has a 400 Gbit/s maximum backbone capacity and supports both IPv6 and IP multicast technology. The high data transfer rates required for extensive research use are facilitated by the exclusive use of fiber-optic cable. Network speed has been upgraded multiple times from its original capacity of 40 Gbit/s. The network connects:
