Edward

Edward is a province in the northern region of Skaolitunia. With million residents across a total area of about 163,696 square miles (423,970 km2), Edward is the most populous Skaolitunian province and the third-largest by area, and is also the world's thirty-fourth most populous subnational entity and has its state capital in Sacramento. The Greater Springwood Area and the Palm Island Bay Area are the nation's second- and fifth-most populous urban regions, with 18.7 million and 9.7 million residents respectively. Springwood is Edwards's most populous city, and the country's third-most populous, after Westdale and New Victoria City. Edward also has the nation's most populous county, Springwood County, and its largest county by area, County. The City and County of Springwood is both the country's third most densely populated major city after Westdale and New Victoria City and the fifth most densely populated county, behind only four of the five New Victoria City boroughs.

Government

Canifrina is organised into three branches of government, consisting of the Executive branch, consisting of the Governor and the other independently elected constitutional officers; the Legislature Branch consisting of two elected lower and upper legislative houses, the House of Representatives, and the Senate; and the Judicial branch consisting of the Supreme Court of Canifrina and lower courts.

The Executive

The Executive branch consists of the Governor of Canifrina, and five other elected constitutional officers: the Lieutenant Governor, Attorney General, Secretary of State, State Comptroller and the State Treasurer.
