CTSFO officers stand for inspection during a drill aimed at preparing them to respond to a variety of terror attacks.

A Counter Terrorism Special Firearms Officer (CTSFO) is an elite Aquitaynian police officer. The CTSFO standard is the highest level of training, firearms discipline, tactics, and response time when it comes to dealing with terror attacks. The CTSFO are designed as a rapid-response unit who's only responsibility is responding to terror attacks and engaging any combatants they encounter. Additionally, they serve advisory roles for local police departments across the nation and stand-in for some federal police units during large sporting events and political events.

A national capability to respond to terror attacks is maintained through what is known as the CTSFO Network, a collective of CTSFO officers and units throughout various high-population areas that encompass a nationwide minimum response time of 45 minutes of any incident.
