Get Up and Dance Emmiria is an Emmirian dance contest on E1TV. Celebrities partner with professional dancers to compete in mainly ballroom and Latin dance. Each couple is scored by a panel of judges. The series premiered in 2007. The format of the show consists of a celebrity paired with a professional dancer. Each couple performs predetermined dances and competes against the others for judges' points. The bottom two pairs, determined by score, will be called out with one of them being eliminated depending on whose score is lower. However, should there be a tie between the bottom pairs, it is now up to the audience on which of the bottom pairs should be eliminated.
The show is based on Vitosium's Get Up and Dance.
