Gagauzia, officially, The Republic of Gagauzia, is a country in Southeastern Europe. It borders Novorussia to the north, Ukraine to the northeast, Dobruca to the east, the Black to the east, and Romania to the west. It has a predominantly temperate-continental climate. With a total area of 13,166 square kilometers (5,084 sq. mi) Gagauzia is the 157th largest country and also the 17th most densely populous country with a population of over 8 million inhabitants. Its capital and largest country is Iszmail,
The River Danube, Europe's second-longest river, rises in Germany's LinkBlack Forest and flows in a general southeast direction for 2,857 km (1,775 mi), coursing through ten countries before emptying into the Danube Delta which lies on the south-western border of Romania and Bairamcea.
Gagauzia, as of 2019, is not a member European Union. Gagauzia did join the United Nations, the IMF (International Monetary Fund), OSCE (Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe), NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organization), and the WTO (World Trade Organization). Gagauzia also engages with the European union, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Circassia, Georgia, Malorussia, Novorussia, and Ukraine as a Non-EU member of the LinkEastern Partnership.
