Miyasaki followed the voice to a cavern that was open on the top so that light could fall in. In the middle of the cavern sat a lake with a giant water lily. She walked to the lily and sat on it to meditate. On that lily she heard the voice again, the voice was the voice of a god. The voice called himself Tanji. Beliefs
Enlightenment
Dōuists believe that one can achieve enlightenment by meditating and living a good life. The idea of enlightenment started with the first Dōuist, Miyasaki Tama. She was the first one to achieve enlightenment and many have followed her in her footsteps. They are known as the Enlightened and can be compared with saints. However, people do not worship them. They are seen as the highest examples of how to live life and become truly good.

Tikawa temple complex
The Tikawa temple complex is the home and seat of the High priestess (女教皇 (Jokyōkō)). It can be compared with Silvadum City as the home of the highest person of the religion. Though, the High priestess (女教皇 (Jokyōkō)) is only seen by Northern Dōuism as the highest of the religion. In the south they have the High priest (大祭司 (Dà jìsī)) as the highest of the religion.
The temple complex was build in the Kawa period of the Cantonese history. It was extraordinarily special that the temple complex was build in that time due to the fact that the build technique used were thought to be invented a 100 years later.
