AleziRadio Festival of Songs 1992
AleziRadio Festival of Songs 1992 is the thirtieth edition of the annual AleziRadio Festival of Songs. The competition was held as usual in 16th of May 1992 by the authorities of Radio Basna Raya. This is the sixth time that Basna hosted the competition after doing so previously in 1964, 1981, 1987, 1989, and 1990 after the victory of Julianto Sari representing Basna with the song "Buka Pintu Hatimu".
The competition was won by .... representing ... with the song ....
As per usual in Basnaharian Radio tradition, the competition was once again held with cooperation between Radio Basna Dalam (RBD), Radio Basna Kota dan Pesisir (RBKP), and Radio Basna Kepulauan Luar (RBKL).
It was rumoured that the AleziRadio tried inviting Carrelie once again to the festival, but this was denied by AleziRadio saying that while they do have plans to reinvite Carrelie, it's not going to be done in 1992, or even in the few years to the future.
The festival took place in Kota Basna, which is the capital of the region of Basna and the third biggest city in North Alezia at the time after Metropolitan Zafizamarrah and Pyalivostokgrad. RBR itself decided that the festival should be finally held in Hotel Santader after previously considering reusing Hotel Terra-Berlian and the Pusat Budaya Basna Kota who had previously hosted the festivals before.
The hotel building itself was the tallest building in Basna with the height of 103 meters from 1981 to 1997 where The Gran Kencana overtook it by height. It was the first five-star hotel in Basna and the second to be built in North Alezia after the Hotel of Alezia in Metropolitan Zafizamarrah. The hotel contains 543 rooms and has a main hall on the right side of the building which was used for the Festival. The main hall itself got a quick temporary theatre setting made for it, making it capable of holding 1,100 people inside. The orchestra pit and the scrutineer table was located on the right side of the stage, while the scoreboard was located on the left. The scoreboard itself was known for its technological marvel, as it was the first screen to utilize a locally-made ARICO Kravizny processor, and the first one to be made using a local-made program named "ARFOSBoard", which rearranges the board for a short period of time based on scoring before returning to the usual position. The program continues being used to this day with updates installed every year.
