Amatsukō (天津港, alternative Varforianised spellings: Amatsukou, Amatsuko; lit. heavenly harbour), historically named Shikoku-Minato (四国港) and Izanaya-ku (いざなや区) respectively, is the capital of Komashi, and the regional capital of Shikoku-Minato. Housing 3.275 million citizens, it is the birthplace of the Komashi nation, as the Convention of Shikoku-Minato, the document which effectively formed the first definitive Komashi state, was signed here in 1030. Amatsukō is also the seat of power of the Kamigami no Maru, the Arakami ruling body of the country. Their headquarters is the Fortress of Shikoku-Minato, located at the city's very centre.
The city was founded in 1030 under the grace of the Arakami gods, named Shikoku-Minato. It served as the capital of Shikoku, the definitive Komashi state.
