Chau Republican Army

The Chau Republican Army is a militant separatist and Chau nationalist organization that seeks independence for the Lushan Archipelago from Songguo. It has participated in numerous terrorist attacks and violent actions and is considered a rebel terror group. The Songhua Ministry of Interior Security is actively engaged in operations to suppress the group and has been for many years.

History

The CRA was formed in 1935 after the Dongjing Convention denied meaningful representation in the Grand Assembly to the Chau, and participated in the First Chau Rising and the Second Chau Rising. Since the quashing of the second rebellion, the CRA has been engaged in a guerrilla and terrorist campaign against the Songhua military and government. It particularly targets ethnic-Songhua civilian settlers and tourists with its terrorist attacks, as well as so-called "collaborators". It has carried out several high-profile assassinations, kidnappings, and terrorist attacks around the globe.
