Germany (German: Deutschland), officially the United German Provinces (German: Vereinigte Deutsche Provinzen) or informally the UGP, is a sovereign state located in Central Europe. The nation is bordered in the north by Pomerania, to the east by Poland, in the south by Saxony, Lusatia, and Silesia, and in the west by Hesse and Hanover.
The current government of Pomerania was founded in 1990 following the collapse of the communist United Socialist German Provinces (Vereinigte Sozialistischen Deutschen Provinzen).
