Interstate 35 (I-35) is one of the newest parts of the Interstate Highway System. It replaced most of Ibican Route 59's route between Albany and Shelby, and Ibican Route 48's route between Mobile and Parkland.
I-35 begins at the junction of IR-59 and I-25, just outside of the I-250 loop in Albany
