Compacipo, officially the Compacipo Autonomous Territory (Basaquese: Herêma Xweser a Compacipo), is a city and autonomous territory in Liberto-Ancapistan, lying in western Evrosia. The territory consists of the historical region of Mherta, including the exclave municipality of Mount Hataiig, and is entirely separated from metropolitan Liberto-Ancapistan. With an urban population of over 1.6 million, Compacipo is one of the world's largest planned cities, and is a major centre of manufacturing in the Evrosia region.
Compacipo was first envisioned as a potential planned city in the late 1950s by Liberto-Ancapistanian billionaire Harlan Rand, who believed that a 'New Industrial City' built according to modern methods of urban planning, managed by a single overarching entity, and focused around a wide variety of manufacturing industries, would be capable of creating a more productive, culturally refined and union-adverse population.
