The Berkani Stadium terrorist attack was a failed terrorist attack planned for February 3, 1996 in the Berkani Stadium in El Berkani, near Dar Al Hamma, Salamat. 4 suicide bombers were originally planned to detonate their explosives in the stands of the stadium to kill a maximum of persons. One of them had his explosives found by the security, the 3 other suicide bombers behind him were also searched by the security. The military arrested the four suicide bombers.
