The Union Party (Gaullican: Parti de l'Union), often abbreviated as PU, is a center-left political party in Île d'Émeraude. It is one of Île d'Émeraude's ruling parties alongside the Worker's Party. It is a current and historical ruling party in Île d'Émeraude.

Founded in 1952 shortly before Île d'Émeraude gained independence as a merger of the Progressive Movement and the Liberal Alliance, two political groups who were at the forefront of the Emeraudian Spring. It was created to form a united political front for the island's liberals and progressives for once independence would be granted. Off of a platform of achieving the main ideals and goals of the Emeraudian Spring, they would achieve victory in the emergency 1953 elections. It was the driving force behind the Constitution of the Republic of Île d'Émeraude, and became the primary ruling party of the newly independent state. It enjoyed a majority in the Senate and a stranglehold on the Presidency until 1964, when the Worker's Party would win the Presidency and gain a majority in the Senate. In 1968, the two parties would form a coalition government in the Senate after no party won a clear majority, and they have continued to form coalition governments into the present day.

The ideological roots of the party stem from the Emeraudian Spring, which embraces social progressivism, secular government, egalitarianism, and a social mixed economy with a strong welfare state. Socially, the party is progressive, being in support of many socially liberal policies, such as the legalization of gay marriage and abortion, as well as maintaining secular rule in government. They are also anti-colonialist, and have positions towards Gaullica that range from indifferent to anti-Gaullica. The party is also in support of alter-globalization and the right of the worker to form labor unions. Economically, they support a system of social democracy, in which the government intervenes in the economy for the purpose of protecting consumers.

Historically, the Union Party has arguably the most dominant political party in Île d'Émeraude. Of Île d'Émeraude's 11 Presidents, 7 have been Unionists, and they've had either partial or complete control of the Senate for much of the time that Île d'Émeraude has been independent. The Union Party controls the Senate via a coalition government with the Worker's Party, and they control the Presidency under President Benjamin Claude.
