The FCI World Cup, most commonly referred to as the World Cup, is a quadrennial international association football tournament between senior men's national team members of International Football Federation (FCI; Latin: Foederatio Calcitro Internationalis). The first tournament was held in 1931 and has occurred every four years since its inception. The most recent World Cup will be held in 2023, and hosted by TBD.
