Prince Nelson (Nelson William George Frederick Francis Albert Charles; born 23 March 1956) is a member of the British royal family. In his youth, he first served as the British Ambassador to Egypt from 1985 to 1989, before later being made the High Commissioner of the United Kingdom to Malaysia, in which capacity he served from 1994 to 1999.

Similar to his younger sister, Catherine, Princess Royal, the prince is also a committed animal conservationist himself, having been involved in various wildlife conservation projects in both the United Kingdom and abroad. In addition, Nelson is also an outspoken supporter in favour of environmentalism and has himself been a vocal advocate against climate change and the need to curb global carbon emissions.

In December 1995, Nelson married German supermodel, Tatjana Patitz in a double wedding with his brother, Thomas and American supermodel, Christy Turlington. Together, the couple has three daughters, Hanna, Georgia, and Katharine, each of whom, by the couple's request, were never afforded with any royal titles.
