Proposition 11 (officially named the "Castello Right to Life Proposition of 2022") was a Castello ballot proposition that appeared on the primary election on August 9th, 2022. If passed the proposition would have amended the Constitution of Castello to explicitly reject the right to an abortion and contraceptives, and allow the government of Castello to prosecute individuals involved in preforming or receiving an abortion or contraceptives. The proposition further declared that the Castello government would not be required to fund abortions.
The language of the proposition would have codified within the provincial constitution that abortions in all instances would be illegal. It was both condemned and praised by various organizations. The Conservative Chamber for Progress and Moderate Forum of Adamantina have both supported the ballot initiative. The Confederation of Labor and Assembly of Industrial Organizations (CLAIO) and the Adamantine Association for Economic Development have both denounced the proposition. President of Adamantina, Almerigo Cianflone Di Martino stated his support for the proposition, while Vice President of Adamantina, Stefania Gambini had stated her opposition for the proposition. Within the Solidarista Party, the current ruling party of Adamantina provided no official position on the referendum. The National Front actively campaigned for the passage of the proposition.
The proposition failed to pass, with 54.54% of primary voters voting no to the referendum.
