The history of The Empire can be traced back to ancient times back to the founding of the First Wolf Palatine in ancient times. The Empire history revolves around several different pivotal points in history, namely the First and Second Wolf Palatine, the Extinction of the Wolves, the Proto-Imperial Era and the Grand Unification. The Empire is based on ancient political theories and systems that arose from the First Wolf Palatine, however much of contemporary Imperial settlement took place during the Proto-Imperial Era. The Empire was first signed into law as a full entity during the Grand Unification in order to unify all of the different races that inhabited the areas it now controls.
