San Francisco de Tilcara, shortened and popularly known as Tilcara, is from October 27, 2022 the capital city of the Republic of La Boca due to the outcome of the Third Sibermia-Boquense War, where the american forces occupied the capital Quilmes and divided the country between north and south.
