The Imperial Kenega Rifles is an infantry regiment of the Vionna-Frankenlischian Imperial Army formed in 1981. Recruiting from the population of Kenega, an Imperial protectorate, the regiment consists of a single full-strength battalion and is a permanent part of the Imperial garrison of Kenega and is based at the primary Imperial outpost on the island at Port Faronham.
Though now only a single battalion, the IKR has had a varying number of battalions throughout its service - peaking at five in the early 90s. Two battalions saw service in the Prodavan War. Budget cuts forced the regiment to return to a one-battalion model in 2018.
