Gottfried-Albert II (Gottfried-Albert Manon von Schlaun; born 30 April 1967) is the reigning King of Gaulan. He ascended to the throne on 15th June 1989. His father, King Albert V, was the first King of Gaulan since the establishment of the Second Republic in 1852. mother is Hannah Janssen, and he has two older sisters, Dauphin Inga, Duchess of Yvelines, and Dauphin Kristina. The reconstitution of the monarchy in 1980, by then National Governor Hector Niney, Gottfried-Albert became second in line to the throne, after his father Albert.

In 1993, Gottfried-Albert married fashion model Lena Raquelle with whom he has one son and two daughters, Carl (his heir presumptive), Heidi, and Jennifer. In accordance with the Gaulois Constitution, as monarch, he is head of state and commander-in-chief of the Gaulan Armed Forces, and also plays a role in promoting relations with former territories of the Gaulois Empire, which are collectively called the "nations of its historical community".
