Bursinai is the largest city of the Federal Republic of Wassilia. It is located on the Wassilian Sunadic coast in east-central Ister province. The population of the city is 2,230,210 and is one of the two cities with over 2 million inhabitants in the urban center. The city experiences an hudmid continental climate with warm but not hot summers and cool to cold wet winters. Snow is rare, however as the warm Sunadic Ocean current does bring plenty of cold climate precipitation snow can occur during the winter months.

History

The city of Bursinai began as a seaside trading port just a long the end of the Isteraian River where it empties into the Sunadic Ocean. The city grew rapidly as trade around the Sunadic brought much wealth to the city. Bursinai's proximity to Wassilia's wine country to the north brought many traders to the area. During the First Morrawo-Wassilian war the city was largely spared as the Empire of Morrawia was unable to reach the city being stopped for good at the Battle of Solvenus. During the period in which Morrawia occupied the Wassilian capital of Tyonek, Bursinai quickly surpassed and became Wassilia's largest and most important city hosting many international agencies doing business with Wassilia.
