Qurayat (Arabic pronunciation: ʔuɽajat) is a cultured, safe and socially progressive nation located in the Middle East, and renowned for its compulsory military service, frequent executions, public floggings and prohibition of alcohol.
The cheerful, compassionate, hard-working, devote population of 11,042,719 Qurayatis are ruled by a mostly-benevolent dictator, who grants the populace the freedom to live their own lives but watches carefully for anyone to slip up.
Geography
Climate
Due to its desertic soil, Qurayat lays between the hot semi-arid climate and the mediterranean climate due to its approximation to the sea. Precipitation is scarce, especially during summer, being the winter the rainy season. With a mean temperature of 19.8C it has cool winters and hot summers. Temperatures can fall below the freezing point in mountain zones and can reach 35-40C in desert zones.
