George VI (George Frederick Leopold Augustus; 24 July 1850 - 14 August 1928) was King of the United Kingdom and the British Dominions, and Emperor of India, from 8 November 1902 until his death in 1928.
Marriage and issue
In 1883, he married his cousin, Princess Charlotte of Prussia, the daughter of Emperor Frederick III of Germany and Elizabeth of Wales. They had six children:

- Elizabeth, Princess Royal (1887-1937)
- Mary, Princess Louis Ferdinand of Spain (1889-1971)
- Prince George, Duke of York (1893-1954)
- Princess Eugenie of the United Kingdom (1895-1909)
- Prince Edward, Duke of Edinburgh (1898-1976)
