The Military of Kyras (Kyrasian: يوساويا ي كيراس, translit. Yusauya y Kiras), also known as the YSK, are the armed forces responsible for the defense, border security, and cyber security of the Commonwealth and its overseas territories in all aspects of warfare. Consisting of six service branches, it comprises the Kyrasi Ground Force (including army-related aviation), the Kyrasi Navy (including naval aviation) and the Kyrasi Air Force, the Kyrasi Space Force, the Special Operations Force and the Cyber and Intelligence Force. Just under 300,000 personnel serve in the YSK, with 196,000 being active and 101,000 being reserve. The YSK implements a policy of conscription at twenty to serve for a period of twenty-five months. The current secretary of defense is Pamaf Al-Johani, who has been in office since 2026, while the Chief of Staff is Iwazo Amin, who has been in office since 2030.
