Cririny is a planet located in the Jordana Sector of the Inner Band of the Talin Galaxy. Home to the sentient Menzirs, it is an industrial world and member system of the Galactic Union. Once ravaged by centuries of war, Cririny's once lush coral surface was crystalized by the detonation of thermonuclear weapons, and the inhabitants of the planet were forced to live in domed cities. The culture evolved to one of pacifism, and the Menzir became highly industrious, with shipbuilding becoming a prominent industry on the planet. The Menl'l Starworks company created vessels for galactic use, such as the Menl'ar-class yacht. The Menzir culture also evolved to one valuing lavish elegance, shown in the architecture of their cities, their fashion, and their general way of life.
