The 2019 Vazian Senate elections were held on April 14, 2019 with 8 of the 13 seats being contested. Snap Federal and Presidential elections were held alongside the elections. In a somewhat upset landslide victory, the Progressive Alliance won every single senate race contested. The Progressives would also win landslide victory in the Federal and Presidential elections. The unpopular incumbent coalition parties, the Rising Sun Party and Liberal Party both lost all their seats leaving New Order to become the opposition party. This was quite unprecedented as the RSP has always had a senatorial seat since an upset by-election victory in 1967.
