Variants
- PK-24: Prototype variant.
- K-24A: Single-seat all-weather air-superiority fighter version. First production variant.
- K-24B: Two-sweat production version. Retained all combat capabilities.
- K-24C: Improved single-seat air superiority fighter. Entered service in 1990.
- K-24C Block 10: Modernisation programe launched in 2003. Features a new radar and improved avionics.
- K-24C Block 20: Further modernisation effort launched in 2010. The variant features improved ground strike capabilities.
- K-24D Gold Phoenix: Two-seat strike multirole version. Entered service in 2000.
- K-24N Sea Phoenix: Single-seat naval variant. Features forward canards, foldable wings, heavier landing gear and a tailhook. Entered service in 1996.
- K-24E Black Phoenix: Modernised single-seat multirole variant. Features a rear-facing defense radar in the tail boom, a new multi-purpose radar and 3D-vectoring engines coated with radar absorbent material. Entered service in 2015.
