The Tulossa Loyalist Insurgency is an ongoing conflict in Lyoa between security forces and those loyal to former president Laurent Tulossa, that began in 2002. The insurgency began after the Revolutionary United Forces overthrew the government during the Lyoan Civil War. Tulossa fled the country but elements of his former military and supporters began an armed campaign against the new RUF government.
