The First Clerk of Prybourne (Spanish: Primer Contable de Prybourne) is the second senior executive official in the Conglomerate of Prybourne. The title and office is formally "First Clerk of Prybourne, Head of the Prybourne Commerce Authority, and the Secretary to the National Board". The Clerk is approved by the Grand Nagus and is formally voted in by national elections
The First Clerk operates as the chief financial advisor to the Grand Nagus and provides impartial advice to the Grand Nagus and is in charge of the Prybourne Commerce Authority. As Secretary to the National Board, the First Clerk provides impartial advice to the National Board and oversees the advice and policy support given to Board and its committees. As Head of the Prybourne Commerce Authority, the Clerk is responsible for other deputy ministers and the provision of non-partisan, expert advice to the conglomerate as a whole.
