Clostary (Clostary: Closten; French: Clotren) is a land-locked country in XX officially known as the County-Palatine of Clostary. It is bordered by XX. It is one of the smaller sovereign states in XX, with a population only a bit over 700,000, and is the only country known as a county-palatine in XX. As a constitutional monarchy, it is headed by the Count of Clostary, His Highness Prince Frederich.
The national language is also known as Clostary, although there is a sizeable French-speaking minority.
The Clostrian economy is well-developed. Though Clostary is very protective of its agricultural industry, the dominant sector is banking and finance. There are also sizeable steel, iron, precision machinery and pharmaceutical manufacturing industries, and tourism infrastructure is highly developed.
