Angelbridge Automotives is a Confederate car manufacturer, founded on March 4, 1906, in Redemption — and involved in car racing since 1912.

History

The Angelbridge Automotive company was founded in 1906 by Augustus Angelbridge. Iniitially a sewing machine manufacturer, Angelbridge, through the backing of a number of investorsestablished the very first automobile plant in Hesperidesia. The very first Angelbridge car rolled off the production lines and was met with very mixed reviews, as many in the empire were unsure as to how such a new technology would fare in the dense jungle and especially during the rainy season. For several years, the company struggled to convince the population that the automobile was just as good, if not even better than the horse and buggy that was popular at the, and through a massive advertising effort combined with eye catching designs and unique vehicles members of the Imperial upper class began to pay attention. Before long, the nobility of Exponent were clamoring for newer and faster vehicles, each seeking to outdo the other as they came to realize that the horse could not hold a candle to the car when it came to getting someplace fast. In an effor tto gain more widespread attention for the automobile, Augustus opened the Angelbridge Raceway in 1912 and establishing the first automobile racing league on the continent

Angelbridge Imperatrix

The Imperatrix is a three-door sporty hatchback first introduced in June 2008 at the Redemption Autoshow, and made its international debut at the Symphony Auto show that August.

Angelbridge Arachne

The Arachne is a two seat roadster first unveiled in 2009 at the Katovice Auto Show and is intended as an intermediary between the ordinarily high end Angelbridge luxury vehicles and a more economically priced vehicle.

Angelbridge AA4

The AA4 is a small, lightweight rear wheel drive two seater coupé sports car. The car was revealed as concept car at the Cyrcini Auto Show in 2011. The production version was launched to the Astyrian market the next year, before entering into the interregional market the following spring.

Angelbridge Casear

The Angelbridge Caesar is a four door luxury sedan that was unveiled in 2014 at the Paradisian Auto Show, and is one of the staples of the current Angelbridge line today.

Historic Models

Bovem

The Bovem was an attempt by Angelbridge to make an aerodynamic passenger vehicle. The car, despite the name, was capable of an impressive 60 horsepower, and could attain speeds of up 75 miles per hour. Additionally, the fully enclosed carriage made the Bovem an ideal vehicle for use during the Hesperidesian rainy season, keeping the occupants warm and dry no matter the weather outside.

Fulmen

The Fulmen was unique in that it had a six cylinder engine. could pull 35 hp and was offered with an Auto-lite electric starter. This was a premier touring car, offering seating for the driver and five passengers, and came in either blue or gray. This was one of the most popular vehicles for the Imperial upper class at the time, and helped to put Angelbridge on the map.

Phasma

Another high end car, the Phasma was built for speed. This vehicle could pull a powerful 40 horsepower, and could hit speeds of over eighty miles per hour. Like the other Angelbridge models, the Phasma also came standard with electric lights and a starter, and was available in both 4 and 6 seat models.

Aircraft

AN-8

The AN-8 was the primary fighter aircraft of the Empire of Exponent in the Second Fascist War. Iniitally unmatched in speed and maneuverability, the aircraft soon became dated and was well behind that other Allied aircraft by wars end. Despite that, the plane soldiered on, serving into the Battle of Crescent Bay in 1950.

AN-47

The AN-47 is a jet trainer and light fighter aircraft in use with multiple nations, and has been a staple in the Imperial and now Blackhelm Confederate Air Force for decades.
