Thamrin Edelweiss (January 3rd, 1980), also known as Tham or Weiss, is a Karimunese politician who is the 11th and current president of Karimun Federation. Elected in the July 2019 General Election as the 3rd president not to come from an elite political or military background, he was the owner of Edelweiss Electronic before he passed it to his cousin, Angelina Edelweiss in 2019 after he was elected as the president, and the chairman of Karimun Association of Youth Businessman from 2018 to 2019 when he also resigned from its position after he was elected, only a year in office.
He was raised in Johenavi in a lower-middle-class family. His father, Martin Edelweiss was a furniture worker while her mother, Giselle Roses, works as a Forest Guard for National Lovial Forest. He attended private school with a scholarship in Giovanni and attended the November Institue of Technology in November where he dropped out before the final test but earned a master, he also met Gilbert Young, who now work as the lead scientist in the Karimun Nuclear Agency and Ariana Dirgantara, who worked in November Botanical Garden.
In 2009, he created the race as part of the Muetadil Party where she won with 68% percent of the vote. She has worked to improve the economy as well as social welfare but critics of her say she is too active in the TCN.
