The Democratic State Party is the oldest active political party in Schokland. Between 1816 and 1912 the DRP was the largest political party in Schokland. The party has never had a clear ideology.
History
Between 1816 and 1912 the DRP was the largest political party in Schokland. In the 1950s and 1960s the Eastern State was a stronghold for the Democrats in the 1970s shifted the focus of the party to the State of Islands and became a stronghold for the party.
